I recently bought a used PC that came with an amazing Dell 2007FP monitor. Unfortunately it doesn't have built in speakers. If you are just looking for sound I recommend this item. It attaches easily to the bottom of the monitor, plugs into the monitor for power, and the tower for sound. And it has a cool beam of light that runs down the center. dude, for 8 bucks c,mon.

Great upgrade for watching videos!
Sounds pretty good for its size. Compact and stays out of the way. So much easier that setting up separate speakers next to the monitor when watching movies. Looks classy too. Dell AX510 Computer Speakers
pros: Sound: Sounds much better than some cheap speakers I have. also sounds better than built in speakers that I've heard. Looks: Looks nice attached to my Dell 19" P1913 monitor. Ease of installation: Attaches fairly easy to the correct monitor. Was a little tough since I didn't unplug anything before attempting and it is on a wall mount, luckily it swings out from the wall. Even though I didn't unplug anything it still only took 3 attempts before I got the tabs lined up and the speakers installed. Cons: I only bought 1. That annoying light directly in the center. Audio plug is a little short for a 3 monitor setup, using the speakers on the monitor farthest away from the PC.(See other thoughts.) Other thoughts: If you have more than one monitor, purchase more than one speaker that way you can daisy chain them(looks like it's possible, i haven't tried it yet). If your tower is in the floor there's a chance you will need an extension for the 3.5mm audio jack. Depending on where your tower is setting of course.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good monitor mounted speakers.
If you're into really great music, played on your computer system, don't buy this! It is a "great speaker system" for general use on a desktop computer. I think these are made for Dell by Bose Company, & do have a good sound. I have 4 systems in my house, (everybody wants their own) but these are used on each of the monitors. Very Convenient to Mount and Power Up. Volume Control Is Also Easy!
These speakers are great! Having the speaker mounted to the monitor saves a lot of space --- And plugging the speaker into the monitor for power also is very convenient - especially because I have limited power outlets. So it's a win, win! As other reviews have mentioned, there is a bright streak of light shining right down the center of the black speaker cover - which would be annoying to some people, but if that's not an issue (for me it isn't), these are otherwise great.
