They're Polk Audio, they've been perfecting speakers since the 1970's. 50 years is a lot of time to make a nice speaker.
They're Polk Audio, that pretty much sums it up! They make the factory speakers in my truck that I replaced them with sound like the paper pieces of garbage they are. With the factory speakers, I had the volume on my Alpine stereo set at 44, with the Polk speakers the stereo is set at 22 and is still louder and much better sound quality. The magnets are about 1 1/2 times the size. You can hear the highs and mid-range sounds like it's a home theater. With some songs you can even hear notes and instruments you didn't even know were playing in the song. They are 4" speakers so they're not going to make your mirrors rattle but you can still feel the bass in the dash. I'm bias though. I worked at my uncle's car junkyard from when I was 12 until my mid-20's (I'm 44 now) in my spare time and had the pick of any aftermarket speakers I wanted to take out of the cars; Rockford Fosgate, Bose, Alpine, Kenwood, Polk, all of them. And after having access to so many different high end speaker brands over the years I always kept going back to the Polk speakers. Bose is a tiny bit better for bass but Polk is close and the highs and mids are better than Bose in my opinion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A lot of sound out of little speakers
I have these as factory replacements for my Voyager 1700 with a 4 channel 500w amp feeding them. You’re not going to get thumping bass because of the size, but you get crystal clear sound at full volume. To help with the quality I have my phone on Bass Booster to make a difference. Huge improvement in terms of sound quality
I just finished to install the speakers on my Yamaha Royal Star Venture. I replaced the originals (Clarion - not bad!) with these Polk speakers. What an improvement!
