    It seemed legit

    I put it on my car and it didn't blow up. So it mustn't be made of explosives. The engine is still running, so it must have cleaned the oil to some degree. Without cutting it open and comparing it to other filters, can't really say if it's a excellent filter. Who can afford to throw the cost of these genuine parts down the drain.
