Excellent Burr Grinder
My criteria for selecting the grinder was simple: - metallic burrs preferably conical - slower grinding speeds , for low noise and prevent overheating of ground beans. - super fine powder for espresso - compact form factor This one just fit the bill and glad I made this choice I am perfectly happy with it, the cleaning is easy and hopper is covered with an airtight lid , so I could leave the extra bean in the hopper itself for weeks! no issues of loosing its flavor/essential oils. Pairs well with my delonghi dedica espresso machine and snuggly fits alongside within a single cabinet slideout shelf.

Consistent grind
This is a great little grinder so far. Little is the key word there as I didn’t want a monster of a grinder sitting on my counter. It’s small and doesn’t clutter my kitchen at all. Grinds consistent espresso for a great pull but it also grinds course really well for my French press. As with any grinder, it seems the gearing is the critical wear item…hoping that holds up well.

Extremely well made
This product is quiet and does an extremely consistent grind. I used to have a Capresso, but the plastic doser generated a lot of static with the freshly ground coffee beans, and it was very LOUD. I love that with the Breville, I can put my filter cone directly under the shoot and don't have to deal with dispensing from a doser. Additionally, I can store my coffee beans in the air-tight hopper and eliminate my storage container from my cabinet shelf!
