    Lightweight with great features

    My 2 Daughters both own 2006 Mazda 3 vehicles. I changed the gear oil at 80K, with a full synthetic quality GL5 grade gear oil, but have since developed 3rd gear syncro grating issue, and rough into 3 rd gear change trouble, in one of the cars. Am pleased with lighter Redline GL4 gear oil, as 3rd gear syncros operating much smoother and better now, cold or hot. I will continue to monitor, over time, if issue corrects itself, remains the same, or gets any worse. Time and kilometers, is the only true test of any lubricant products, as well as harsh race condition use.

    Tames that noisy transmission!

    changed my gearbox oil to MT90 following a clutch rebuild in my 944s2 and today took it for a drive. Much less noise from the back end, although still the familiar drone. All in all happy with the result at a fraction of the cost of a CWP rebuild!

    Brilliant shift action

    Don't be fooled when replacing old gearbox oil into buying the one with the biggest numbers and the most certifications!! This oil is SUPER high quality, no doubt, but it has been formulated specifically to have enough friction to correctly engage the syncromesh and make a beautiful smooth gearchange hot or cold. Yes I wasted many many dollars on super expensive full synth certified to high heaven grade a+++ oil -- that was TOO SLIPPERY and led to a poor shift action. Give this oil a go, I wish I had earlier. (Puma defender/Getrag M82 gearbox)
