Great Strings! This is my first set of Tomastik strings. They do not disappoint. I have a wonderful aged jazz guitar. These strings bring out all its deep tones. They were lighter than I expected for flat wound strings. But they were also far easier to play than I expected. I plan on sticking with with these strings in the future. They are well worth the extra money!

These are the best strings because they are the only flat wound strings that are Nickel instead of Stainless Steel . You get the tone of Nickel with the smoothness of flat wounds . They are a little expensive but they are made in Austria with silk string on both ends of the strings . It’s well worth the money .

I’ve got a Heritage 575 30 year old Jazz box that had 12’s. It sounded great but was a brute on my hands. I put Thomastic-Infield 10’s and this old Heritage friend played like woman in need! Fast, lose, purred and moaned. Like BB told Billy GIbbs...”Why you workin’ so hard?” Love These Strings

The strings feel good but the top strings have already turned color. I wonder why? Maybe they are old. Not sure.
