E Power jump Starter instructions not great
Well, where do l start one star as the torch worked ( 5 stars now keep reading ) This thing seemed like a great idea as l have a jetski and thought" hmmm that would be handy to have in case of an emergency, fits into the ski console and no more problems if one arises" However, since not using my ski since last summer l though l should fire her up and check everything out . Flat battery " Haaa l thought , l have now got something to fix that, l grabbed my new EPower jump starter re checked the directions, yup pos to pos neg to neg and "Kachinnng" the positive spring loaded clip blew apart , found all the pieces and put it back together ...ok check,,, pack fully charged then plug into EPower and start her up ......start her up.....now came a beeping from the wired unit and a red light ...directions ... could be reversed ..or short ciruit .no connection correct and that is clearly correct .... re attached ...no beeping plug into unit....... nothing ....recheck directions...yup all correct ..... took the unit put it back in the box lesson learnt ... buy the proper product FOLLOW UP ok lets look at the directions Connect the RED Battery clamp of the jumper cable to the vehicles positive (+) battery terminal and connect the black battery clamp of jumper cable to the vehicles neg battery terminal plug the cord of jumper cable into the jump start socket if you do as above you will get fault beep unit will not work This is where the instructions are incorrect what it should say is connect the positive clamp to positive on battery .....PLUG CABLE INTO JUMP STARTER then connect neg clamp to battery neg NOW IT WILL WORK Company was very upfront with contacting and looking at the problem... the product itself works and continues to work, it was only the instructions (that normally l DONT follow) that caused the problem This is a great unit , and now very happy with itVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

What A Little Ripper
