This kit is completely self-tuning, but it also allows for user tuning. I bought the 400hp kit with the external fuel pump. My car is a stock 289 and I wanted better drivability and fuel economy only. The installation instructions were good. The car started right up like a new EFI car, the throttle response was exceptional. The down side the external fuel pump is unbearably loud I installed it exactly as per the instructions. The fuel pump kit was lacking, it did not have self taping screws for the pump bracket, no clamps to hold the fuel lines in place. I don't know if they will take the fuel pump back or not it was a waste of $245.00. I bought a fuel tank with an internal pump from Mustangs Unlimited. If you look at EFI Mustang fuel tanks most of them have the inlet and outlet on the top. I don't know how that would work considering the top of the fuel tank is the trunk floor in a Mustang. The Mustangs Unlimited tank has everything in the stock location on the side. Will see when I get it in a few days. 5 stars for the EFI unit one star for the pump.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
