I've struggled off the tee for years. I've switched between Drivers and 3 woods depending on how I'm playing. I've always found 3 woods easier to hit off the tee but you definitely suffer on distance with them and with the modern low profile heads they are not very forgiving. Anyway I originally bought the 14 degree version of the Aeroburner mini and I can honestly say that it's not far behind my Callaway Epic on a good day. The difference is that it is so much easier to hit and so much more consistent than it. I lose far fewer balls and hit more fairways with this club. I love it so much that I have decided to go for the 12 degree version as well. I can then alternate between the 2 depending on the wind. The only slight negative is that because of the loft it does hit the ball higher than a standard driver. This means a bit more distance loss into the wind. I would recommend this club for anyone struggling off the tee or anyone that just wants to improve their consistency and fairways hit. The distance loss is negligible when compared with the accuracy gains.Read full review
