These headphones are great if a powerful surround system isn't viable for you. If you live in a apartment or have others in the house that don't want to hear your loud sound late at night these produce surprisingly great sound to be marketed as surround sound headphones. Does it sound as good as a true 5.1 or 7.1 setup? Short answer is no but these are great to have if you don't want to sacrifice sound quality. I had these hooked up to 3 HDMI devices which included my Cable, PS3, and Blu-ray player. The bass drivers are good and have a nice rumble effect for powerful movies like Independence Day. Watching cable quality was quite well too. Other than no mic with this wireless set gaming sound was also a plus. Wireless band has good signal range up to 14-18 feet without no drop in sound with 2.4 GHZ and 5.0 GHZ modes. Battery can be charged in 4 hours with about 10 hours of wireless playback via USB cable. The only draw back is this set don't have a stand for the headphones but other than that they truly remarkable headset with clean sound on music, movies, tv, and games!Read full review
