Pulled it out of the box, added oil and fuel and off it went. Very easy to start considering it is carburetor fed and the choke lever is not accessible with the side cover on but it seems to start fine without it. After running some small loads I hooked up my heat gun that's rated at 1400 watt and it tripped out the overload circuit, I found this strange considering the generators output is 1700 watt with 2000 watt peak.. nevertheless it is still perfect for what I need it for and at 1/4 of the price of the equivalent Honda you can't go wrong.

This generator is good value for money (I got 20% off) BUT it overloads at 1090W continuous after a while (and overloaded at 1160W immediately) so it is effectively only a 1000W generator and not 1700W as advertised. Just enough to run my fridge (780W peak) and a couple of small things. I used hotplates and incandescent lamps to test the generators output with a watt meter so power factor of connected devices was not an issue.

We needed a power source for our air fryer in our camper and this is perfect. It's relatively small and easily transportable. Not too loud either.

You get what you pay for. Cheap Chinese generator. Hard to start, easy to flood, kind of noisy but does the job.

Hi all I found this generator to not be very good at all. It's output seems to be between 800 and 900 watts yet it says it is rated at 1700.
