This is a little Beauty!!!
I was wanting an hose adapter for an old style square kitchen tap, so that I could water my garden, as I do not have an outside tap, after seeing the price of tap adapters in my local hardware shop, I was aghast at the price of them, ranging from £9.99 to £14.99. I then saw this one on the web, priced at under £3.00, and some good reviews, it also came with several rubber washers for different size fittings. Since using it, (I have had it now for over 3 weeks) it has never leaked or anything else going wrong with it, it is used nearly everyday, and is absolutely fantastic, especially for the price, you will not go wrong with this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap and sturdy, but NOT UNIVERSAL
Although well made and sturdy, this may not fit all mixer taps. The item did not fit my kitchen mixer tap and I think mines fairly standard. However instead of a rounded end at the spout, mine is squared off @3cm flat edge at the end. This meant the tap connector would not fully engage onto the mixer tap and neither of the rubber bungs (2 different ones supplied for different tap ends) would seat fully, meaning it leaked badly. As the item was cheap and seemed sturdily built I milled out 2 sections of the tap connector body to make space for the wide/square mixer tap spout. took me a few minutes with a router, but now it fits perfectly. Its a good product but if it was simply made so it could be fitted to a tap either way round, it would fit slightly more unusual taps IMHO.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the price.
I've tried it on 3 different taps, worked fine on each one with minimal leakage. You just need to find which is the appropriate insert for the tap, there are 4 different sizes. Simple, easy to use and good value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not great
Not ideal for a universal tap due to one side thinner then the other and would not sit on my tap!! I tried it on another tap and the water spit out all over. I did try all different ways and tightened it but still no good 😩Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brilliant and leak free !
Fantastic ! We needed to wash the canvas canopy at our shop. So bought this to attach a hose and pressure washer to our old tap.
