Better coffee / more benchspace / good value.
It makes good coffee (at the right temp. unlike its abandoned predecessor). It looks good. I like it, and am glad I chose it. And... I wish the on/off switch was more easy to see/feel/push especially as I seem to take too long with one step so it goes a little hay-wire before the next so I have to turn it off and on again mid operation. I find it annoying that the steam-on/off handle is directly above the steam, like crossing hands over the steering wheel while driving and hoping you don't burn at the same time. The footprint is a little larger than I anticipated. It seems to unnecessarily flange out a bit all around and is deeper than my old much wider machine. The cup height allocation feels a little strange. You can remove the plastic chunk below the cup easily to increase the height but the metal grate doesn't fit back on, which is a missed opportunity for neat satisfaction in my mind. I'm being fussy - it's great! If you're happy to do the work making the coffee and want your bench space, it's very good value.

Extremely Happy with this coffee machine, heats up well and makes the best coffee. I'm so glad I went with this choice! My coffee just keeps getting better and better! It also takes less bench space so you still have a fair bit of room 👍😊
