Easy to to use and works most of the time, but there are some glitches that arise from time to time. The unit will freeze up occasionally and the power needs to be disconnected to reboot it. If you are lucky, the EPG channels will still be there or you will have to retune the stations again. Also, sometimes the audio is out of sync with video on live viewing but is easily corrected by changing stations and going back again. Don't pause your recordings for too long, it doesn't like it at all.

This PVR was recommended to me for my caravan, as the pvr has evidently a more sensitive receiver than the caravan tv. Trials so far have confirmed this is correct as I can now receive tv stations at my favourite caravan park where before it was susceptible to atmospherics on a daily basis. In addition, the physical size of the pvr has a minimal footprint which is great for the restricted space in a van. This product was refurbished and time will tell if the product will last; however, I'm just happy to receive a tv signal. If the pvr records for a couple of years, that's a bonus.

Usually twin tuner machines with a 500GB hard drive are expensive but this machine is not. Twin tuner allows the copying of 2 channels to the hard drive while watching another programme.
