We purchased our Pet Drinking Fountain in 2018, which has a soft charcoal filter, after awhile the filter required to be replaced. Which was ordered, on arrival we found that the Catit fountain filter was unsuitable for our unit due to it being too thick as the new one had a hard plastic backing, so when it was inserted into our fountain, it was too thick and thus the filter could not fit with the final fountain assembly. Are we able to purchase a plain soft filter and return the unusable one ?
