Overpriced but functional
The most affordable pre-electric shave lotion available since Boots discontinued their own brand but around £5 more expensive for a 30 ml smaller bottle. Does the job ok but who needs throwaway blue glass, a cardboard box and an old-as-the-hills cheap fragrance that's contemporary to Hai Karate? Effective pre-shave, especially in hot weather--dab it on, let it have 30 seconds, then use the electric shaver in the normal way for a smoother easier and pleasanter run over the face and neck. The lotion also helps to keep the shaving heads lubricated, reducing wear on the cutters--a useful by-product. But do keep the cutters clean. Most electric shavers nowadays can run under the tap for a quick rinse, with a weekly brushout. The scent of a pre-shave is a very personal thing of course. I do lament the loss of the old Chanel pre-electric shave and more recently the withdrawal of the Dior equivalent but the mossy fragrance of the Stratos under review is OK for myself and family and can be overriden by a more powerful aftershave if required.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best value pre - electric on the market today

Sets up beard for a closer shave
