Well designed and great fun
I bought this because my sister had bought my kids a big box of second hand playmobile boats. The motor is compatible with all of them, even the submarine, and can be moved between vessels easily. It takes a single AA battery, which runs for a long time on a single charge. As you'd expect from Playmobile, it's well designed with a silicon O-ring that keeps the water out of the battery compartment. A plastic screw can be adjusted so that children can't accidentally open the battery compartment in water when turning the motor on and off (by twisting the battery case). The rudder can be adjusted to make the boats go in circles, which is great for a bath or small paddling pool. Speed is relative to the size of the boat with small boats zipping about and large boats taking a bit longer to get going.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
