Great Ring alternative
These cameras are a breeze to install and set up. Datastream encryption is available and I highly recommend it for security reasons. These cameras also record locally onto micro SD cards and function quite well in northern winters. My old 720p cameras worked fine at -40°. Easy to install and set up,difficaulty with connecting toWiFi. Not always notifies when mail man or delivery man is coming.Problem with formatting micro SD memory card.Technical support try to help but couldn't solve the problem,tryied few different SD cards and finley I got lucky and card got formated. Had other popular video door bell and I changed to this unit. It is much better. No extra monthly cost. 3 MP is much better than my 2 MP and it can be zoomed in and turned left and right plus up and down. The recorded image can be moved this is hugh. Twice as good as Zmodo!
My Zmodo Greet HD would not connect after 8 months and the picture was lousy besides it had to be connected to 2.4 gigahertz only! This Ezviz compliments the rest of my Ezviz home cameras that I have used for the last 3 years and it works on both bandwidths and has free cloud storage of 3 hours! The only surprise is that this Hong is quite large. It is not the size of a doorbell at all check out the dimensions before you buy.
