Lets be honest, your not buying a Gibson or a Fender here, so lets reign in the expectations. If you can do that, then your going to discover a reasonably made guitar that is very solid, nice to look at, and works well. Straight out of the box it plays ok once you have it tuned in. There was a bit of fret buzz, but it was easily fixed with a bit of truss adjustment. To get the best sound of the guitar, you should have it intonated as soon as possible, and then spend some time adjusting your pickup heights to get the best results. Once its dialed in, it plays beautifully and has a nice warm sound in the mid position. It manages to stay in tune nicely too, with only some minor adjustments here and there if you have been doing a lot of string bending. Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised by this guitar, and I think this would be an excellent choice for someone starting out or as a cheap bedroom guitar for riffing on. This guitar is sold in Australia under the Haze brand, but is in fact sold under different other brands in the world including Hurricane and something else I cant remember right now.Read full review

I'm a beginner and have a few low priced guitars and thought I'd try this lp copy well not bad at all for the price in my opinion it's made well no fret spout at all nicely done it did have some string buzz but a bit of tinkering and all good tuners stay in tune nice sound and tone! Nice feel and easy to play I'm impressed it does have some weight to it but not over the top! The case that came with it is good aswell to me buying unseen on the net it was a great buy cheers

Finish is pretty good - better than expected as are the pickups but I will still change out all of the pickups, hardware, tuners and nut as I will be making it as close to a professional unit as I can. I intend to use it professionally to replace an actual Gibson LP. The neck feel and action were much better than expected and in fact very close to my 73 Gibson LP albeit I shall do a little bit of work on the frets and neck. So with the right pickups (my sound) I feel this will make a very good replacement. The extra goodies were cheap starter items and all were new. I shall give these away to my beginning students. The picks were great thanks. The cover was a throw away item. If you buy this guitar I suggest you also buy a cheap hard case for it at under $100. It will protect the gutar much better. At about $300 or under all up with the hard case then this will be a good starter guitar for any student without doing the work I plan to on it.Read full review

The title says it all. This looks as good as the pictures and the finish feels silky smooth . For quality of parts and finish to a non guitar expert this is what you would expect form a good maker. Like a top of the line Ford but not a Mercedes and its a very long way from a beaten up old junker you expect form Made In China. Like I did, go to You Tube and a watch the "genuine v Copy" reviews . Read the comments about the sound of each and you get about a 50 -50 split over which is better for its sound. The video reviewer will compare quality of parts etc and say the quality is not as good but at 10 times the price you expect the quality to be more Mercedes than Ford for the genuine. I did have one problem . I had fret buzz on one string. All cheaper guitars and even the genuine need some degree of setup work out of the box The genuine will probably not have fret buzz but they all seem to need the action adjusted for the Angus Youngs etc. For a person with skill ( non guitar paying) in his hands it was a half hour setup job and from what I am told about $30 at a shop and a job you cant avoid if you are a musician and not a player regardless of genuine or copy All up for $200 delivered I would say its a bargain for build quality. Sound is subjective. TiIl I become a guitar legend or a guitar snob the rating standsRead full review

The product has slightly changed since i bought mine but here goes: Even stock this a decent guitar: -Set neck(glued) instead of bolt on like my other SX les paul -And the switch is not a circuit board switch. Just change the tuners and pickups and this guitar rivals any more expensive les paul style guitars. I put 1978 T-Top pickups in mine and changed the potentiometers , tuners and switch. Its the actual guitar your buying for an amazing price. One thing to note- i tryed to fit a tonepros bridge but it didn't fit this- but the one it comes with i couldn't be happier with after a couple of years of playing it. -The nut can chip away if your rough with it- again, easily replaced. Overall I will be keeping this for years.
