  • Just OK - Your mileage may vary.

This works, but sometimes at inconsistent transfer rates. Low cost card installs without special drivers and adds additional USB ports to your computer. I am not, however, seeing 5 GB/s or faster data transfer rates on the USB-C ports - even when I use just one device in either C port and no other devices connected to the card. Still, it adds ports and considering most devices are still USB-2 speed, it works great for adding more ports for most gear. I am overall happy with it, just not impressed it has the sort of transfer speed it is rated for. Your mileage may vary. TT

  • Effortless use for pass-through using KVM

I work with virtual machines on Linux (KVM and QEMU). I could effortlessly use this card to perform a pass-through to a Windows machine. I couldn't recommend it more.

  • Testing a Kingston usb v3.2 thumb drive ...

Testing a Kingston usb v3.2 thumb drive with this card, I so far have not seen any benefit in going to USB 3.2. Read speeds are between 35 & 50 mbs. Write speeds are terrible - below 15mbs.

  • Exactly what I needed for my server that DID NOT have aux power available for PCIE cards such as this. I pulled files at 700mbs through this to an SSD

Exactly what I needed for my server that DID NOT have aux power available for PCIE cards such as this. I pulled files at 700mbs through this to an SSD external. I'm blown away... buying more for all my servers.

  • This card destroyed my z77 extreme4 motherboard.

Their card destroyed my motherboard (an older, established z77 extreme4, which worked perfectly until their card was installed on the pcie3 slot, which their card says it supports), and now they are gaslighting me, denying that their card destroyed this mobo.
