Brilliant.
This is a stand out piece of television. While there's lots of action the strength of the series lies in the wonderful characters, some good, some bad and some you don't get to know too well because they are killed too soon. The crew that put this together paid respect to the soldiers who fought in the famous battles shown. If you like war drama with accuracy and great characters then you will love this, it's not to be missed.

This is probably one of the most accurate portrayals of what it was like fighting in Europe during WWII .. It is a true account of the 101st Airborne, Easy Company (Screaming Eagles) from D-Day through to the end of WWII - Very graphic and not for the squeamish.
