A good rendering, true to the original novel. Charlotte Bronte would have approved.
Well cast, well depicted. Before Bond, Timothy Dalton is a harsh but very dishy Rochester, and Zelah Clarke a modest, meek governess with a steel core. The plot may require us to suspend belief but it carries us along with it!
