Here is the Leyland Brothers' historic West-East crossing of Australia in 1966 - from Steep Point in WA to Cape Byron in NSW - along with the recent retracing of the epic journey by Mike Leyland and his entourage. In A Journey Revisited, Mike discusses the contrast between the first and second expeditions, and how new communications and GPS devices have changed the notion of adventure travel. We also hear what inspired them to undertake such a journey, their reactions to seeing people and places that so inspired them on their first journey, and find out how the Leyland's adventures helped spawn the 4x4 revolution in Australia.

read the book and was great to also see the dvd and put pictures to the words. remember these brothers growing up - we watched Ask The . . . at primary school. great for 4wd enthusiasts, or anyone interested in Australian scenery and outback.
