"Everything in the USA is big. I needed a pruning blade that is heavy duty, heavy enough to do the work, sharp enough to cut cleanly, and most importantly able for me to use in tight places without hurting myself in close quarters. I have seen this tool used in Japan while stationed there and was impressed by its usefulness and durability. While it may look like a weapon from the 14th century feudal period in JApan, it is an exceptional and most usefull tool. The sheath is made of sturdy leather with snaps. WARNING: This is a serious cutting tool. So please observe caution when using. It is not a baseball bat. IT could be a lethal weapon if used improperly. But for serious landowner gardiners with a need for a heavy duty cutting tool for use in close quarters...This is it."
