Battery on this thing is incredible. Charged it once done I got it and still is only around halfway after weeks. Only detracting bit is that the lock function. You cannot lock the power button. So even if locked you can turn it off mid workout by accident because the power button is just the center button on the front. Which makes it easy to turn it on by accident while in a gym bag or something. Other than that issue it is exactly what I wanted. The sound is good too. Has stopwatch and radio as well.

After having used this product for a few weeks now, to be frank, it is not good. When it does work, it is not a bad little player. The sound is good. Remember: When it does work. Currently, I can not even get the item to charge and it isn't showing up on my computer. Really it's disappointing. I would not recommend this card nor this company to go with. The item seems to work better when it is warm, which tells me that it is fault wiring (to high of resistance for the electricity to flow through it). Heating it up probably lowers the resistance which allows the energy to run through it. I've done enough electric work on computer chips and boards to be able to tell you that one. What bothers me is that they ended up selling this refurbished anyways. It has only worked for 2 charges and that is it! What a wasteRead full review

This seems like a really nice MP3 player. Was easy to download songs on it and the sound quality is great. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is that we haven't had it long enough to test its durability. It's currently in a box under the tree. Overall, very pleased so far!!!!

Being a sport model, this player needs a hold switch really bad! A sliding hold switch freezes the controls and prevents the touch buttons from working. Grabbing the player the wrong way while working out or running will often cause it to go into a different mode, losing what you were listening to. I've learned to grab it on the top while pinching the belt clip, but that can be awkward. A hold switch would allow me to grab it anywhere without accidentally changing the program. The controls and screen functions are not very intuitive, making seeing the screen a must to program the player. If, like me, you workout or run without your glasses, the learning curve is that much more difficult. On the plus side, battery life is excellent, charging is quick, sound quality is excellent with good earbuds, loading and deleting files is easy, and 4mb of capacity is more than enough for my purposes. Price is very reasonable. Evidently SanDisk's designers don't workout much, though.Read full review
Bought this player for long life of battery and it has done well. I play it for about 7 hours while working on the warehouse floor and it is still going strong at the end of my shift. It is small in size and clips securely to my shirt. I use headphones instead of buds and the output is loud and clear. The only things I find annoying is that occasionally while in shuffle mode, it will play about 10 songs and then play them again in the same order, I have over 500 loaded so I should not hear repeats for a while. Also, even though I have backed out of play mode and shut down, when I put it on charge, it will power up and start playing the last song I was listening to. Overall, I like this player, was a good value, and the two things that bug me are not show stoppers.
This little player is a true powerhouse. Sound quality is very nice with included earphones and exceptional if you use some good headphones. The functions are very logical and easy to learn. This player can store a lot of music. It has the ability to use a micro SD card. I can carry my entire very large music collection in this convenient little lightweight device. It also has an fm radio, audio books, sport features and etc. Great buy for a great price. I am very happy with this product!

The first thing to say is that I was looking for a light, durable, easy to carry way to listen music wether I was jogging, sitting on my sofa or riding bicycle. Sandisk fulfil my wishes with an excellent sound quality, reasonable battery life and different format support, I only use ACC because its lighter than mp3 and as far as I have read its better quality too. It can go over 24 hours of continues play and will charge between 3 and 4 hours. Theres also things that I dont like: 1) It has no hold button 2) You can't listen while charging 3) Theres a lag of 1 second aprox between your button push and the answer

Big BIG problem is that tunes don't play in sequence. It plays tunes (and books also) by line number. A book has chapters and it plays by line number and not by chapters so you have to fast forward after each section. Also had to work to get my computer to find the unit. I have an older SanDisk Clip that works great and this unit was a total disappointment. I purchased the new unit to have more battery capacity.

Where do i begin, Better sound than any iGarbage, with better ear buds, has a removable micro sd card slot so don't have to worry about device breaking and all your mp3's being lost. Radio player work great and easy to use. With a 32GB sandisk card, that cost $10, and the 4GB that comes with the device, thats only $45... So lets reflect, a device that holds up to 36GB with at sd slot total cost me $45. Sorry Walkman your 8GB for $80 is a joke and the lay out stinks, and nano feel so weak I'm afraid to breathe on it, oh and good luck finding the song you want, only have to hear it click 4 million times before you find what you want, lets also not get started on dealing with iTunes and the cost of a nano ( even bigger joke). Only negative on sandisk is clip cant be removed, thats a real petty negative.Read full review

I purchased one of these MP3 players as a gift to a 13 year old boy and it's still going strong after 2 years! When I recently needed an alternative choice to my iPod - I knew that the SanDisk Clip Sport was the one for me. The battery life is outstanding, the sound is unbelievable for such a small player and the cost is very, very reasonable. Some might say that it doesn't have enough storage space but you can change the external MicroSD card easily so it's virtually unlimited as far as the number of MP3's you can have in your listening library. Both players I purchased were factory refurbished and they've performed perfectly so don't let the word "refurbished" make you shy away from purchasing this small, excellent player.
