Faster than a mechanical drive; More space per dollar than an SSD; Leaps over loading times in a single bunch of complex computations.
I have two 4TB versions of the Seagate 3.5'' Gen3 SSHD both stacked with game installations, the older one has been running trouble free for two to three years. So, when my 4TB Western Digital SSHD failed after two years, the natural choice was for another Seagate Gen3 SSHD. This drive type has proven reliability for me and is faster than a standard mechanical HDD with plenty of space to back up that extra speed. These SSHD's have the speed and space to be great game installation discs for any game collectors.
