After 3 years with a Galaxy Note2, I was overdue for an upgrade. After much research and wanting to take a different direction from the Galaxy family, it came down to the iPhone 6 Plus and the Nexus 6. I am extremely happy with my choice. The Nexus 6 is an awesome device. Super fast processor, great camera, amazing 6 inch 1080p screen with incredible resolution, stereo quality speakers on the front of the device, great call quality and the device encryption is a nice bonus for privacy. For less than half the cost of an iPhone, I feel that I couldn't possibly be twice as happy if I went the other direction. I LOVE this phone and look forward to enjoying it for at least the next two years.

Switching from Samsung Galaxy Note 5 to this has been very trying. I use phones for work and rely heavily on text messaging. Typing on this device is next to impossible. I have contacted Google and gone through everything that Project Fi Technical Dept. Has instructed on numerous occasions and watched instructional videos on clearing the Cache and other suggestions from YouTube and within a very short time it's right back to lagging. Another issue is Text/SMS delays that are crippling my pocket book because of missed work orders. I thought that I would have a worse phone than the 1st or 2nd generation IPhone but this Motorola has that dubious honor. Way to go Motorola !

Androids are getting better but still lacking when compared to that other top OS. But if you love the Galaxy, and you have not tried a Nexus yet, it is probably a good idea to give it a try, especially because it is pure android, no invasive Samsung robots asking to have access to your facebook account, forcing you to download crap you don't want. I think Motorola (Google) is the best way to go, to experience it, if you like android OS. I have tested LG's, Samsungs, Alcatel, HTCs and none performed smoothly as the Nexus 6 (very similar to the Moto X 2nd Gen Pure). It may not be best looking device due to its massive size, but when it comes to performance, the N6 is a top contender in my opinion. I really enjoyed it, the best Android experience for me, even better than the S6 and S6 Edge.

This phone was offered at an excellent price. It is one of the largest phones available at this time. The size can be a problem especially for small hands. It is slippery so you should get a case for it. Good battery life with a very large screen. It works with Verizon and GSM networks. Unlocked so you can use it with any carrier.

I've had this phone for a little over 2 weeks, and absolutely love it. When I ordered, I was concerned the phone might be a little to big... but it is about the perfect size for my hands. Phone is plenty fast enough and call quality has been very good-excellent, and have had no issues w/ dropped calls, etc. Battery is kinda meh... I tend to play a lot of games on my phone during slow times, so I'm used to the battery getting drained pretty quickly... and this one does under these circumstances.. but this is to be expected and isn't a complaint. Under normal use (calls, texting, surfing)... battery life seems to be pretty good. I'm definitely happy with the purchase.

I bought this phone to replace my Nexus 5. The Nexus 5 started to run a bit more slowly and its battery was dying much more quickly so I decided to upgrade to the next model up. I did like the size of the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 6 is quite a bit larger but I have gotten used to the larger device size and really like it. It's a great phone and I highly recommend it.

First the good: - Since it is a Nexus, this phone will at least get timely updates directly from Google. Android is notorious for not getting timely updates or none at all. The bad: - Giant size, even for a phablet. Make sure you try it out at a store before buying. It is very awkward to hold in one hand. - Poor quality display. High resolution does not make up for the muddy, poorly calibrated display. - Mediocre camera. It is very slow to respond and incapable of taking good pictures indoors without a flash. - There are so many security issues with android right now that it is risky putting any personal data on this phone. - The Google Play store apps are usually much poorer quality and lesser functionality than iOS apps. This phone is ok at $300. Just don't expect high quality like you would get from an iPhone 6.Read full review

Motorola has always made quality devices. I traded in my iPhone for this; best decision I've made. Can't beat the price. This is a Google phone, so it syncs up with all my internet needs making life sooo easy!

Worked flawlessly right out of the box. Swapped out my SIM card into this phone and Cricket recognized it right away. I love this phone! The GPS is great. I find all my geocaches with it and navigate with it nicely. I love the large screen. The phone was in like new condition as advertised. Would highly recommend!

I researched this phone for a few months before I bought it and it has been a great phone. The only issue I have with the phone is the battery life. With moderate use the charge will barely make it through the day
