Basically good but with some issues
The Breville Duo Tempo is well made and attractive, and constructed of metal, not plastic. It's very easy to use and clean. However, it is very noisy. Even though the drip tray is quite large, the machine purges so much water automatically that the drip tray needs to be emptied after making each cup of coffee. That, in turn, requires frequent refilling of the water reservoir. Results can be inconsistent, even when doing everything exactly the same way each time. Mostly the coffee produced is excellent. Sometimes disappointing. Even though I have been using this machine for only about 6 weeks, the steam wand needs to purge a lot more water before it produces reasonably dry steam than it did at first. Overall, I recommend this machine. I think perhaps mine is a little faulty. You Tube demos I watched before purchasing mine always showed a very quiet machine, which mine certainly is not. The removable onboard tamper, and storage for spare coffee baskets, etc behind the drip tray, are bonuses.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

"Great Coffee, Great Value"
Combined with my Breville Smart Pro Grinder, this little machine produces a very good coffee. It's very simple to use, and made to a high level of quality. The only (small) negatives I have would be the 'time' to make a coffee is a little longer due to it's manual operation and no ability to heat milk at the same time as the coffee extraction. The only other minor issue i have is that the steam wand can be a little tough to clean as the milk adheres strongly to the metal. But! Value for money.....you would struggle to beat it.
