Stinger quality, a time saver
Stinger's Speedwire saves you time and effort. Being a 9 conductor cable, it can be used several ways. Because its conductors are EIA color coded, identification at each end of the cable is simple. It contains 4 pairs of speaker wire & an amp turn-on wire. If you decide you want more power going to your speakers with an outboard amplifier, than your deck supplies, this is for you. Simply run this cable from your 4 channel amp to the factory harness behind your deck. At the deck, connect the wires color for color on the vehicle's harness, connect the blue wire to the deck's blue wire. At the amp, connect the speaker wires to the respective speaker's outputs on the amp, connect the blue wire to the amp's turn-on terminal. If your deck's speaker outputs were cut off, be sure to insulate the ends properly to prevent damage. Assuming you ran & connected the amp's power, ground and RCA's, everything should be good. It's a lot easier to run one 9 conductor cable, than 4 pairs of speaker wire and a amp turn-on lead separately.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
