Does the job and looks great
I have had this kettle before, it lasted a few years with a heavy amount of use before it needed replacing (we are very big tea/coffee drinkers in this house!) I only bought this kettle for it's looks so can't complain. For the price of the kettle it is kind of a pain lifting off the lid, compared to my previous cheapo kettle that had an automatic button. Also very hard to see the maximum/minimum as it is under the handle and I find I end up taking the lid off all the time to check.
