These blades are made in the USA gotta love that. But they are super sharp and best value you will find in a DE blade. I have tried lots of DE blades and finally landed here. I think their is only 1 blade sharper than this the feather blades, but they don't stay sharp as long and cost twice as much and believe me they are not that much sharper. And they would only be sharper for the first shave with them. But these will last 3 to 4 shaves easy and if you wanted to you could push these farther just to see how long they really would go. My search is over no need to buy any other type blade this is it for me. They won't disappoint.

Decided to try Personna blades to see how they compare against two brands I'm currently using. One of those I would rate 10/10 and another 7/10. Unfortunately Personna wouldn't have a chance even against that 7/10, so I'd stay with my current set. Speaking of value I again prefer those that serve me now. The main reason being Personna doesn't shave as good, and I don't think any blade will last longer than 3 shaves (as opposed to two other once again). Please note though that the final result depends not on a blade itself but on a razor+blade combo. My double edge safety razor seems to work best with the brand I rated 10/10 so my personal choice is obviuos. In this case value goes not with Personna.

I've used these for a few years now and I can say they are the best blade for any money. They're sharp. I get a weeks worth (4 shaves) from each side. They are dirt cheap for the quality they give in return. I have tried many others and simply cannot find any better. The coveted Feathers may be sharper, but they're not "better" in my estimation. I will not buy anything else.

These are what are often called "Personna Lab Blues". Having tried every other high quality double edge blade in the world I came to the conclusion that these suit my wet shaving method better than any other. Perhaps slightly not as sharp as Feather blades, this makes for a less agggressive experience, so my skin doesn't feel attacked afterwards. I also use them to wet shave my bald head (!) and they work fine for that too. Individually wrapped in paper they don't have any annoying gum to hold them in place, so when you unwrap each there is no residue on the blade and you don't have to risk cutting your fingers freeing it from the paper. Tested with many vintage and contemporary double edged safety razors from my collection, and they work fine throughout. After a long period of testing alternatives these are now my go to blade, and buying them in 100s works out at 14p each inc shipping from USA to UK, so I just use each once then chuck it away.Read full review

I have done a lot of product reviews in the past and I have found that any one individual has a happy medium and that one has to find there own. I personally can not shave with the top of the line sharpest razor and have negative results (nicks and fast burns around neck area) and at the other end of the scale for sharpness. I have found that this product is my sweet spot to get that BBS shave (three pass). Great product. I pair it in my use with a 1961 Gillette Fat Boy DE adjustable, great combo also with Edwin Jagger de 89. 👍
