The camera is waterproof up to 10 metres and can also withstand extreme environments, and it achieves all of this without a housing. This makes the camera much more compact. Love this camera
I struggled with the decision of which Session to buy, the newer 5 or the older 4. Understandably the 5 has more features but the thing that swayed me to the 4 was the battery life which is around 2 hours whilst the 5 would be flat in around half that time. Image quality is great and the quality of still shots that can be taken from the video footage is more than acceptable. I am a bit disappointed with the quality of the sound. The mic's seem to be a bit oversensitive and the sound distorts quite easily. It certainly does not cope well with wind and this is a problem as I use it mostly on my motorcycle. I previously had a Hero 3 Black which I sadly drowned on my jetski when the seal failed on the housing. Whilst I haven't had this one wet yet, summer is coming and I'm looking forward to taking it out on the water with me. The WiFi App control works well on my Iphone 6 and this is great for "non motoring" filming. Its also terrific for reviewing footage or helping with camera setup. Overall I really am impressed with the Session Camera and can recommend it as being a great value action camera option.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Small form bur with few hiccups
The GOPRO Session has a small form and fits on my motorcycle helmet fine, however has a very poor battery life when Wi-Fi is used and is overheating. Is requiring a very fast mini SD card to work properly. A significant issue that I found using it as helmet camera, is difficult to determine if the camera is on as the On/Off sound is not easy to be heard. A previous camera that I used had a vibration system that allowed me to feel when the camera has start or stopped. Also by feeling the start/stop button you cannot determine if is on or off. A sliding mechanism would be easier to feel and determine its status. Overall a good camera with good quality image.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Quality little camera.
