Did not work at all
Tried it with MHD, xHP and Protool on my 2007 335i. Doesn't work with those. Tried it with two different versions of INPA on both Windows 7 and Windows 10 (compatibility mode). Doesn't work there either. Yes I had the correct drivers, serial port settings etc, this isn't my first rodeo. The E90 should be easy mode compared to interfacing with my E36 with ADS - but this cable just doesn't work. Initiated a return and I've ordered a cable with a manual switch instead.
