I have been able to use the battery 5 times so far without any issues at all. It delivers constant power to the Makita blower. Running at most powerful speed it drained the battery after about 20 minutes. In my book that’s pretty good. One thing remains to be seen yet is to see how many full recharge cycles I will be able to achieve without loosing too many amps. So far very happy

Genuine 4 ah Makita batteries
There's cheap and there's cheap and nasty, well these batteries fall in the cheap category. I have used them on our reciprocating saw for a week now and they hold up quite well. They dont last

They look like genuine makita batteries, but obviously not!

So far, so good.
I'm an Electrical Contractor and use various Makita tools. Whilst I'm happy with the tools, the Makita batteries have let me down regularly, often failing within a year, which is expensive and annoying, since I have to take time to go and replace them. I bought non genuine this time, at about one third the price. They arrived promptly, they fit in my Makita tools and charger no problem and supply plenty of torque.
