Simple to use but limited
This connected easy enough but the description needs updating as it essentially is useless for any video streaming service. I was hoping to use it for appletv+ as it’s not mentioned as non supported. Works well for photos etc and some basic apps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn’t work - nearly fried iPad
After plugging it in to a projector, a QR Code appeared that directs you to download an app. The firmware then requires updating. The app shows a list of updates to choose from. You need to choose the correct update, but there’s no indication which one is the correct one except for a code that displays under the QR Code. There were no updates in the list that matched the code exactly. There was only one update that resembled the codeunder the QR code, which had a one digit variance from that code. While installing the update, the iPad started to make a frying sound and I had to shut down the program and uninstall the app so as not to damage the device. Doesn't work
This product did not work at all. Being a non-genuine accessory meant that it required an app to be installed, followed by an immediate update. After which the product still showed an error message when plugged into the screen. I have ended up purchasing the genuine version directly from Apple and it works perfectly. Although I have bought non-genuine accessories before without a problem I would recommend saving yourself the trouble in this case and going straight to the genuine product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cheap product

Limited functionality
This item is good if you ONLY want to mirror video content from the few accepted sources (for example, forget about Netflix & almost all the rest, youtube works but with abysmal performance).. When it comes to games, even the MOST SIMPLE struggle at least a bit. Also, it FORCES you to plug in lightning which means you are forced to OVER CHARGE your device potentially.. Waste of money ! Do not buy
It doesn’t work , it will not play anything from your devices to your tv . You can get your screen from your phone then that’s bout it . It won’t allow you to watch anything after , just cuts out . Doesn’t work!

Its ok if you don't have a smart tv
