Can't go wrong with Shimano
The chain is light and shifts better than anything else I have tried when used with Shimano components. It works great with non-Shimano cassettes and chain rings, but I think a slight bit of crispness is lost. I have found this to be the same with any brand of chain though.

Shimano Knock-off
This is NOT an authentic Shimano product. My master link had no directional arrows. The chain had etchings on both sides. The packaging was not a stickered with genuine Shimano parts. While the chain seems to function (okay), I don’t trust items sold as something they are not. I will be replacing this item. Waste of money.

Best chain available
I’ve run campy for years and used wippermann. Great chain. The DA chain is better, only weakness is no quick link. 11 speed chains are very delicate and touchy. If I even think I have an issue, I discard the chain and install a new one. Shifts great and I have a campy cassette. Probably shift even better on a shimano cassette. I only run shimano DA chain on my DA road bike.

Haven't actually got this one on my bike yet. But i have the exact same one on another bike with the same groupset, and it's smooth, shifts great, and thin enough so the front derailleur can be calibrated so a single position covers the full range of the cassette. This item looks to be perfectly identical to the one described for half the price.

Not the lightest or fastest chain setup but gets the job done!
This the non hollow pin chain, slightly heavier than the hollow pin chain. This makes for a perfect training setup and can be used for racing too! Works on any Shimano or Sram compatible setup.

Beware - does not have hollow pins
Product shipped did not appear to be legitimate. Advertised as a Dura Ace chain. Dura Ace chains have hollow pins. The product shipped had solid pins and markings stamped on the links were different than my previous Dura Ace chain.

Not a real Shimano Chain
This chain is a fraud - it is not an official Shimano CN-901 Chain. It does not have hollow pins, it does not have the QL packaged in a separate envelope. I am truly disappointed in this, it has taken me a while to get to actually attempting to use this chain, I opened it yesterday and realized it is a FAKE. If you want a real Shimano CN-901 chain, do NOT buy this one. I wish I could return it, don't be fooled, I will not use this chain as I have no idea as to what the quality of it will be. Very disappointed!

The Best Chain for DA-9000
