This hub set is great. Insides of the controller seem to be well built. Hub motor seems solid too. Running at 60v and does the get too hot. Controller LCD is easy to use and very programmable friendly. Works on 36, 48, and 60v 26AMP max current Very happy with this kit.

The kit works well with throttle control but with pas even on lowest setting the bike goes way too fast. There is too much assist so it is hard to ride slow. Found some adjustment instructions online but didn't help.

For the price and performance of this kit, it is highly recommended for use on a commuter bike or for casual local use, the LCD setup is very easy and has several options as you go through the setup, for anyone new to E Bikes there are some excellent videos up on youtube that take you through the entire setup process as in how to install the wheel and LCD and what to be aware of. All in all it is an excellent kit.

A great conversion idea.
Made in China but quality seems quite good. Conversion instructions are fairly poor but are useful. The manual covers several options and models and takes a bit of working out. Anyone who has previously worked on bicycles should be able to do the conversion. It can be a bit complicated for a novice. I converted a full suspension alloy mountain bike so the mechanics of the conversion took longer than normal but well worth the time. The kit provides interlocked brake levers, meaning that if you have integrated brake/shift levers you need to purchase new shift levers. There is no way to test the kit before you have finished so the first ride is the first test. On the road (and off) the bike is FUN. Hills are a breeze. The kit could do with a "User Manual" to enhance and tune the different modes of riding. I absolutely recommend the kit to anyone interested in bike fun. Great buy, very happy, still goes like new one year later.
Just thought I'd chime in here to say I installed this hub motor one year ago and it's still going as good as the day it went in. Plenty of power, very reliable, deathly quiet! Love it. I matched it with an X GO battery and both are still performing the same as the day I attached them to the bike. I didn't install the pas, I just use the throttle like a motor bike as it gives more control. I've never ridden a pas controlled bike I like.
