Not a simple installation but useable.
This product is somewhat of a universal kit, and as such, does not go into enough detail regarding setup and proper attachment of related bracketing. Some the photos of brackets don't quite match the supplied brackets, leaving you to guess what you are suppose to do and exactly which bolt holes to use. Also, since the bracket bolting to the transmission (in my case), required using the supplied spacers, I needed longer bolts to safely secure the bracket. (Longer bolts should have been provided.) In addition, the drilled mounting holes for the neutral switch were not correct and I had to drill holes in the proper position. I also added a spring to assist the lock out lever as mentioned by others online. You can make this work but I feel you should not have to go thru this much work on a new product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It works.
Installed this yesterday. A bit of a pain as far as reaching some of the parts of the car needed to perform the install. 72 road runner with big block and headers, the linkage parts that attach to the transmission are awkward to access when the car is only on jack stands, might be better if you have a lift. The cable routing is not as easy to attain as it could be but then you are trying to retrofit newer tech into an older car. The cable is currently very close to the headers but at least not touching. Haven't been out to drive it far yet so not sure of the overall performance but a definite improvement over the worn out linkage from the column shift.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
