Can a water kettle really be deluxe ?
Our old Breville water kettle stopped working after 10 years of hard work and we were looking for a kettle of at least the same quality. We could not find a similar kettle, but found this new Breville kettle at a good price compared to the RRP. Still, it wasn't cheap and of course the question was : "Does boiling water have to be so expensive ?" If you only drink one kind of tea or only use a kettle for a couple of things, you have probably technique down to perfection for you. But if you like to drink all sorts of tea like we do, it's a bit more tricky and then this kettle is perfect for you. Just press the button for the tea you are about to make and start it up. It will quickly heat up the water and then slow down, when it gets close to the chosen tea temperature. And, here it comes, it will sound a couple of beeps to tell you it's done. Now, how often has the postie knocked on your door just as you were about to make a cuppa ? Now you can just press the keep warm button and go and receive that parcel you have been waiting for. This kettle keeps surprising us. We have only had it for a week, but what a week it has been ! So, the answer to my question in the title is definitely YES ! If this kettle also lasts 10 years, it has been a very, very good investment indeed
