This Dell U2515H replaced a 24" Dell 2407WFP monitor I had for the past 7 years. I am a professional photographer so need a good quality monitor. I was concerned with the light bleed issues with IPS monitors, but with this refurbished unit I got in testing it actually had less light bleed than the 2407WPF monitor! There is only a bit of light bleed in the upper left corner, nothing I feel affects photo editing and only if there is large letter boxing do I even notice it while watching a movie. This monitor has a non-glare matte display like my old Dell, so I can keep prolonging the switch to horrible glossy displays for a few more years. The text is not as sharp as I had hoped, but still sharper than what I had. The best upgrade besides the very increased viewable space with the huge resolution step up, is the whites looking white. There is no yellow tint. However, I am on a Mac and using the PC setting in the menu actually works way better than the Mac settings! I do miss not having a card reader built in, but the improvement in how easy it is to tilt, swivel and raise this monitor is worth it. As other reviews I read mentioned, the display is not edge to edge. The physical bevel is very small, which is a selling point for me, but the flat screen area itself has about a 1.5cm black border. The other thing is the power button is very, very hard to turn on and off. I do not do this often, as I just put it to sleep connected to my MacBook Pro (mid-2010 15" model pushes this monitor just fine), but when I travel with my laptop and go to turn the monitor off, it's sometimes a challenge. Really though, for under $300 even refurbished this is a very good monitor for photography work and viewing large amounts of text at once. This refurbished model did have a small blemish on the upper right corner which I noticed a lot at first and was disappointed about, but now some weeks later I never even notice it.Read full review

I bought this for the home office. The images are sharp and way way better than staring into a laptop screen. The screen position can be adjusted to go up and down (about 10 cms), supports vertical (portrait) or horizontal (landscape) orientation. Also, swivels on its base along the vertical axis. Totally happy with this awesome monitor. One small nit - product ships with a CD that contains instructions and drivers. I don't have a CD drive to put that thing into. So, I had to search dell monitor support web site for drivers. Who ships a CD in this day and age?

For the price, this is great. The display is perfect, no issues, no dead pixels. The stand and frame were a little more dinged up than I expected from the description. One of the frame edges has pretty deep scratches. But maybe my definition of "minor" is more strict than the seller. Regardless, in use, these don't matter and are not visible, so it's not an issue for me. My unit did not come with a power cable though (pretty sure it should have came with one), but I have a bunch of spares, so it's not a big deal. Overall satisfied.

I decided on this monitor after reviewing top monitors online. my old Dell Ultrascan died. I was pleased to see that the Dell was still rated very high on the list. My computer already had hdmi out so I figured that would be no problem. NOT! I had to purchase a new video card to get one with high enough resolution before the monitor would work. So far so good. I'm very pleased with it and would certainly buy another. The monitor does have several usb ports but they aren't as convenient to get to as they were on my old monitor.

This monitor is rated as one of the best by several on-line reviews. Indeed, it is well-deserving of the high reviews that it has received. This monitor offers the same 2560 x 1440 resolution as do many of the 27-inch monitors on the market today. However, because it does so on a smaller screen, it gives you more dots per inch and an outstanding display. This monitor also has a very robust all-metal stand that supports the screen well in contrast to some monitors of this size for which the stands are somewhat flimsy. This monitor also has DP, mini-DP, and HDMI input ports. Note that the only difference between the U2515H and U2515HX is whether a mini-DP to DP cable or a HDMI to HDMI cable is included. If you purchase either one or the other, the appropriate cable can be purchased at a very nominal cost. You cannot go wrong in purchasing this Dell monitor!Read full review

This monitor is NOTHING short of fantastic!!! The resolution is crisp, the color matching is AMAZING. It comes with a Thunderbolt - DisplayPort cable. Windows & OSX look great on this monitor. I also tested it with a PS3 and it does an amazing job! I wanted a 30" UltraSharp but found this and decided to give it a go - I'm NOT disappointed at all!
Thin bezels combined with a 1440p color accurate panel result in a quality product!

I compared this to a 24" dell monitor I had from a couple years ago, and this new led lit one runs 12f degrees cooler. From 96 to 84.
