    Only because of lack of choice

    I wanted to install electronic ignition on my IH 444 tractor to avoid dealing with burned points. Installation is pretty easy. This module fits the IH distributor specifically, replacing the breaker points. BUT... I wrecked the first module by leaving the ignition on too long while trying to get it started after it flooded. I’ve replaced it, and it’s running nice again, but to me it’s idiotic to design this without enough heat dissipation that it can handle the constant current with the switch on and engine not running. If I had any other option to fit the 444’s distributor, I would have gone with it for replacement.

    It’s worth it, don’t wait, wish I’d bought it ten years ago

    Made my farmall 404 run better than new. I installed it in about 20 minutes and haven’t installed the new wires and plugs yet, but I turned the key and pushed the button and it started instantly, never did that before she us to love ether even in the summer.
