Looks slick clean, fast data transfers, design is nice looking works with USB 3.0. on current Computer. I would recommend it, but not for Government and Military Family Database Files, because you can't transfer sensitive files to public. By the way it is not Product of Thailand, it is Product of China on the box, I received, I am Cambodian-American, we know our Countries Names, Cambodia and USA are two Countries . Does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it's a Seagate. I always preferred Western Digital and Seagate hard drives (in that order) over all other brands. The quality is what you'd expect from Seagate. I use these for simple back up from my desktop computer. I just use'em with the usb cable, and do a simple COPY of data. The drive comes capped at a maximum transfer speed of about 100 MB/s. However, I use this drive primarily for backups. This drive has ample 1TB storage for my needs.
