  • Get a Godin!

This is a beautifully crafted instrument that takes you back to a time before solid body electrics were invented. With its old-style archtop design it has the resonance of a good acoustic guitar when played clean but can easily dial in the darker smoky tones needed for jazz...and if you throw on a little dirt, it becomes an excellent blues player. With its floating P90 pickups, it is easy to get that vintage tone when run though a good tube amp. It is an extremely lightweight guitar and is comfortable to play standing for long periods. It came perfectly set up with the action nice and low and the unpinned bridge allows you to quickly change the set up and/or intonation with just a manual tweak (no tools needed). The overall quality is off the charts for the price when you compare it to similar offerings from the big-name makers. Godin (pronounced: 'Go-Dan') is not a well-known guitar maker in the U.S., they based in Quebec Canada... but they are quickly becoming recognized for producing high quality instruments at an affordable price. All the tonewoods they use are sustainable and produced locally, and each one is built entirely in North America (both Canada and U.S.). This is the 3rd Godin guitar I have purchased, and each have been overly impressive for how good they sound and play for this kind of money (Gibson are you listening??). I highly recommend checking these guys out, I think we will be seeing a lot more of their stuff in the future.

  • A Real Beauty !!!

it's not cheap, but it's no expensive for what you get. It's the perfect marriage of acoustic and electric, absolutely the best of both world's. Even the case is A M A Z I N G !!!!!

  • Excellent Guitar

I am mostly an acoustic player. This guitar has that vintage sound that I was looking for in a hollow body electric.
