I bought this keyboard because my Steelseries keyboards barely lasted 6 months before the spacebar gave out, the spacebar on this is much better, smaller and lower down so it is much more sturdy. I do not play intense games, so have no use for combinations or all the special keys that are located on the left side of the keyboard, also it has an ergonomic design at the bottom and the top which is really irritating because it takes up more space than a normal keyboard would. That said it is soooo much lighter than a Steelseries keyboard if that is a good thing. For non gaming it is an absolute nightmare and I would not recommend at all. Because of the special gaming keys located on the left side of the keyboard, all of the keys are 1-2 spaces out of alignment to what you would be used to, so expect to hit the wrong keys a lot of the time. Typing on this keyboard is tiring, I can't quite put my finger on it, but it causes my left hand to cramp up and I feel as if I am meeting resistance when I type on it, even though for games it is much better. It has a feature that allows you to disable the windows button, seriously if you going to have that feature and you going to move buttons around, why not just put the windows button somewhere safe out of the way of gaming altogether. Personally I always just remove the windows button so I won't inadvertently hit it, but it also has blue backlighting, personally I am not a fan of lighting let alone backlighting, supposedly making the keys easier to use in the dark, I play with a light on so this feature is wasted on me and my eyes are sensitive to it, on the few cases where I have used it in the dark I find the lighting flickers. So for gaming which uses the spacebar it has been great, for writing, typing it is a disaster.Read full review
