Did not work for my application 😫believe me I really wanted it to.
The flares are of irregular shapes not concentric or round.
The Stainless steel is to hard to compress where the flares meet the aluminum abs module.
After installation 4 out of five fittings leak due to irregularly formed flares .
It’s more appropriate to use softer brake line material that is made on a higher quality machine.
I really wanted these to work but I don’t have a hydraulic flaring tool that will flare stainless...
Well thanks anyway ...
the product is a good idea and it might work ok for manny people
I had this done professionally 12 years ago and it cost $850.
Because of New Hampshire I had to do it again. It was easy! $75. Cant beat that. My local parts stores had the same exact ones for $120.
I had my local mechanic vacuum and bleed the whole system for $100. I had to take my ABS unit out to get the old flares out. There are many videos on you tube to show you how. I do have advanced skills, but basic tools. My silverado lives on!
