About this product

Product Information

The Bose QC 25 headphones employ QuietComfort technology to give you powerful and clear sound whether you are on the go or resting at home. Noise-reduction technology cuts down on outside sounds so that you are able to focus on your music, your phone conversation, or simply the sound of silence. These QC25s are compatible with a range of Apple and Android devices. This pair of noise-cancelling headphones is specifically designed to work with certain iPhone, iPad, and iPod models. You can also use these noise-cancellation headphones with Windows and Mac computers or your BlackBerry device. An airline adapter helps you enjoy the noise-cancelling effects while you're sleeping on the plane by blocking out the sounds of crying babies and other loud airplane noises. When you need to adjust the volume on the headset, the control is within arm's reach, attached to the cable. In addition to using this Bose headset for listening to music or taking calls, it is also compatible with video game systems. Just plug the headphones into the jack to experience the full audio range of sounds from your favorite games. You can also plug them into your receiver, Blu-ray player, DVD player, or TV to watch a video or listen to a streaming show. These Bose QC25 headphones deliver crisp percussion and clean bass with their proprietary technology. Their unique Active EQ and TriPort technology ensures that you hear the full range of vocal harmonies even as the din of city traffic or an airplane's engine is blocked out. The slight but sturdy frame makes the headphones sit lightly on your head, and the over-ear cups grip your ears firmly but gently. The ear covers are flexible and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. They create a close seal around your ears so that the deep notes of bass are not lost. This flexibility enhances your comfort while also maintaining a balanced sound quality. The ear cups swivel for a good fit. They are comfortable to wear with glasses, and you can adjust the headband. These black Bose QC25 headphones use one regular AAA battery for noise reduction. One battery lasts for about 50 hours of minimizing external sounds. If you do not need to use the noise-cancelling functions, the headphone just needs to be plugged in to your audio device. They measure 2.5 inches deep by 5.9 inches tall by 9.4 inches wide. Since these headphones weigh just 6.9 ounces, they are a great choice for your carry-on bag or backpack while traveling. They are easy to pack as you can swivel and collapse them down for easy storage. With these rugged Bose headphones, you can hear every detail of your favorite songs.

    Love these...highly functional and comfortable

Got these to protect my hearing on an extremely noisy ship building project. Found our standard 3M protective headphones to be inconvenient to keep on throughout the day, fairly good protection but heavy and overly insulating to conversation with fellow workers. The Bose have transformed my ear protection habits. I wear them 80-100% of the time I'm working. They are extremely comfortable and the noise canceling is fantastic. I can use them with canceling switched off or on depending on the noise intensity. With noise canceling on, there is a dramatic drop in audio impact and yet I can still hear people speaking to me which is an additional safety plus. At home, I use them to meditate, eliminating all the noise static of refrigerator etc. LOVE the supreme quiet! They're also a boon for taking my computer based work out to coffee shops, blocking out noise whether or not I'm listening to my own music. As far as sound quality for music or video play, I find them adequate for my taste. They may not pass audiophile tests, but I find them comparable to my $100+ Sony and Sennheiser phones. They're great, although if I've got a video going, I need to remind my wife to make eye contact to get my attention, cause I can't hear her or anything above the soundtrack. Super happy with my purchase and well worth the dollars to protect my precious hearing.

This is a bit dated a product

This is a bit dated a product, and there may be better choices for a similar or lower price, such as the Plantronics Backbeat Pro, which I have and are now priced at $114. I got these because the noise canceling was supposedly state of the art, which it might be, and the sound was supposedly great, which it may be. But being wired is a serious price to pay, and the controls, the connections, the build quality, the features are short of where the market is now. The Backbeat Pros have pretty decent noise cancelling, great sound, and a lot more features, more adjustability, and far better build quality. I've got both, and if I had to jettison one, I'd keep the Plantronics Backbeat Pros.

  • Helping me to recover from acute stress

These are worth the price paid as I was in desperate need of relief from constant low frequencies other headphones could not silence. I'm talking day & night noise nausea. I live in a low income apt building, under construction, overlooking a busy intersection and on the same block as a night club. These have helped me cope with the daily & nightly noise that at times have made me feel on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Thanks to these I can finally attain to some relaxation, enjoy a movie and music without hearing the nauseating bass from the night club during the silent parts of a movie or music (the most relaxing 'cos I can finally get into it). Add to that the rumbling of a neighbors Bose theater system 2 rooms away that a pair of less expensive headphones are no match for. Only the QC25's have proven effective against the unrelenting low frequencies. Bose vs. Bose! Listening to music helps cancel out the other sounds of apartment living just fine. The sound quality is excellent and the better the recording/mix the better they sound. A touch of frequency/tonal shaping can be recognized but it is well balanced and keeps listening fatigue to a minimum. I can listen to these longer than the less expensive headphones I own. As regards comfort, they are like a good pair of shoes. They feel comfy when you first put them on but I still needed to get used to them a few wears. Personally, I like to take short breaks from wearing them every hour or so. And reserve my "wear time" for the evenings when I really need them to relax and enjoy my new apt for once. From now on I will always need a pair of these. Hope this helps someone else with the same issues. Instead of settling for the $49 & then $89-$109 pair. Wait and save for the time it takes to get the QC25's.

  • Love my new Bose Q25

My husband recently had surgery on his ear and must have his sound turned up very high. My desktop computer is near his laptop and when I put on the Bose headset with the noise canceling feature turned on, it is almost as if he turns his sound the the lowest degree possible. I was able to watch "It's a Wonderful Life" as I have in the past while he was watching an old "Gunsmoke!" What a blessing this headset has already been to these two "old codgers!"

  • Outstanding

An outstanding pair of travel headphones. No comparison in comfort & noise cancellation to Beats SW which I also own (Xmas present). More compact than BSW. Audio superior to BSW (IMHO) and love the fact that when you lose power, you simple use a new AAA battery and your back to listening. No recharge wait time experienced with BSW. Bose QC25 are not bluetooth but I took a chance on pairing them with "btunes" which provides the bluetooth interface without significant audio loss.

  • Bose QC 25

I bought these headphones after realizing that they aren’t much of difference between these and the QC35 models. 1. It’s wired but can be converted to wireless Bluetooth. I bought a BTunes Bluetooth adapter on Amazon. Fits neatly and out of the way around the earpiece. 2. Replaceable batteries, you can’t do that with the QC35. Once it’s dead on the QC35 it’s dead. So I bought rechargeable AAA batteries with included charger here on EBay. Altogether with my three purchases, it came up to under $200.

  • Great BOSE Product as expected!

ANC is fantastic, they are comfortable and in perfect condition. I’m very happy! Even though it is an older BOSE Model they are top notch sound quality and extremely great noise reduction which was why I bought them, I have loud upstairs neighbors and it really drowned out a majority of their disruption. My music never sounded better!

  • Comfortable with great features

This new generation of Bose noise cancelling headphones has some very attractive updates. The wire detaches, the headphones work even when the battery runs out, and the case is more manageable. All in all, a good purchase.

  • Booyah for Bose!

We had tried brand "x" noise cancelling headphones and they were completely worthless. I finally sported for the real deal and I am glad I spent the money....they are amazing. They block the babbling of voices 8' away, and the roar of a furnace that I put my chair next to where I hide away for my nap. (shhhh!) Great product.

  • Noise cancelling is awesome and sound quality is great!

I bought these mainly to block out the neighbor's noise, which they do very well, but the sound quality is very good too. I listen to classical music and it's wonderful through these headphones! They are lightweight and fit very well and don't give me a headache like some other ones I've had.
