Sounds great, semi-comfortable, sometimes has trouble switching devices

These wireless headphones sounds as good as a standard set of headphones. However, they aren't super comfortable. The piece that holds the earbuds really work to keep it from falling out, but they also can get uncomfortable after wearing them for 1-2hr. I really like how it remembers up to 8 different devices so you don't have to constantly repair your devices, but switching between devices works only reliably about 75% of the time and sometimes it would automatically switch w/o you wanting it to switch. Finally, the headphone cable is really long causing what I feel to be extra weight, and thus causes the earbuds to pull with a tendency of falling out.

    They're Ok, but not great

I was expecting a bit more out of these for a high end set of buds. The sound quality is a ok, lacking bass. They're not that comfortable or small. They do hold a charge for hours which is great. I wouldn't purchase another set. There are far less expensive options that would suit you well.

  • Worth fourth of msrp

Bottom line: I will not recommend it for 150 or even 70 usd. If you can snag a pair for 35-40$ then go for it else save your $ and go else where. What lead to above: Why I said that i because I tried X2's on Note 4, 5 and 7. And too much static by keeping the phone in pocket and walking. Static was pretty bad when i jogged and phone was in pocket; on Note 4 and 5. On Note 7 things were a bit better but minute I stated jogging static was back. If one goes and looks at Jaybird's website none of the athletes talk about the product itself but rather their drives (so dont be fooled that an elite level athlete is using the product so its great. They got it for free to market the product).

  • Feels almost like a downgrade from the bluebuds

I owned a pair of bluebuds for over three years prior to buying a pair of these because they broke down. Frankly, I have to say that the sound quality is a downgrade. Everything feels a lot more muddied: highs are less crisp, mids aren't emphasized enough, bass isn't as clear. These aren't things you can change with the EQ either. But speaking of that, some positives are the app, which can tell you the battery percentage and has an EQ - it's very useful. Battery life is also an improvement, the buttons feel nicer, but I don't like the way it's charged (i.e. a proprietary 4-pin connector). The selection of ear fins and choice between conform and silicon ear tips is nice, but taking price into account, these don't like they're worth the upgrade when you can snag some decent bluebuds for ~$100 cheaper.

  • Way too expensive fr the quality

The foam bud's wear out quick wich are t the ones that provide best sound quality cuts out sometimes and losses connection, bottom line is great sound quality but no so durable and too expensive.

  • Fit issues

The product is great ..I just feel my ears are too small cause even the small wings don't fit into the space they are designed for ..I have to bend them just to fit and because of this the sound isn't as good as it could be if buds were right into my ear

  • Much improved over last generation

The last generation of Jaybirds were good, but the ear wings would constantly shift around and require constant readjustment--annoying. You also had to buy separate foam Comply tips if wanted a better noise-cancelling seal in-ear. The X2s now come with foam tips and have vastly improved the ear wings so they don't move around. Sound and call quality is great. Highly recommended.

  • If it's not amazing you're using it wrong

Everything is just great, but it took me a couple days to find out which ear rip was the one for me, and this totally change the experience. I thought that the sound was just ok, until I found the right ear tip for me, same as I thought that could fell anytime until I found the right one. So basically it was all my fault. I love the sound, the bass, the treble, the whole quality. Also are really lightweight. The design it shows real good quality. Love it since day 3 (cuz took me that time to find the right setting for me). Worth every penny.

  • Really Good Headphones

These are a really good pair of earbuds but the drivers that go on your ear are really big even with the smallest ear tips they are really big. If you have big ears then it is not a concern for you but if you have smaller ears like I do I would just recommend you use the foam ear tips which are included so that is a great feature.

  • Excellent!!!!!!

Great sound quality... descent high's & low's.. The Jaybird App allows you adjust the EQ to your sound preferences.... Battery playback for music is about 6-7 hours nonstop... standby battery can last for days...
