Once you get over the fact that Nvidia lied again and this is not really a 4GB graphics card you'll be fine. You see what they did was they sold it as a 4GB card when it's really 3.5GB of fast memory and 0.5GB of normal memory. This doesn't really impact the card too much as most games wouldn't use the extra RAM anyway. Now it might be more of a problem, but i've not seen too much in the way of issues. Card is quiet and works well. EVGA is a reputable brand with good warranty support too!

If you can pick up an Nvidia GTX 970 under £100 in 2018 then it's a good buy and very similar in performance to Radeon RX570 on 10 modern games I tested. Once overclocked though it pulls ahead slightly when compared to an overclocked RX570 by a couple of FPS.

an excellent budget option for entry level gamers and enthusiasts alike though the coil whine that comes with many 970s seems to be just as prevalent as ever in the used parts market!
