Guitar came in better shape than I expected. Packed very well. Exactly what I wanted, nothing special, just a fun guitar to experience the feel and tone of a semi-hollow body instrument. Nice enough to upgrade whenever I get to it, but if not I'm happy to play as is. Finish was very good, action and playability very good.

I really like the fit and finish, the paint is perfect. Neck is thin and has a good feel to it. Pots are smooth, but the selector switch has a dead spot in it at times. No output from the pickups when it happens. P90 pickups are good for rock, blues and country sound. Frets are nice and the finger board is exceptional. Tuners are so easy to turn that they lose tension if they are bumped. Will probably change the selector switch and the tuners and keep this one. It is a lot lighter than my Les Paul and resonates nicely when played unplugged. I LIKE IT!

This was bought as damaged with a cracked neck and no guarantee on the electronics, and the p/u toggle switch is broken, well took the chance. Firstly, electronics are just fine, the switch is an easy fix, so no biggie there. Now as far as the neck, I figured at the price I paid, dirt cheap, I had no problems putting in the work to gluing and refinishing it. To my surprise the neck wasn't broken, just a finish flaw. So if you ever get the chance, I'd go for it.

These guitars are very nice!! First, the weight reduction is really nice, second their playability is crazy!! I normally like a fatter neck, but, this neck is very quick, the satin finish helps much to ease movement up and down the neck!! The face,or Top, so to speak, is really a standout!! Whether You get the guitar with more red around the edges, or a more golden with the hint of red, the blend of the colors and the quilt top is really a knockout!! Mine have always matched perfectly!! The pickups are good, though I like the sound and Jazz power of the neck pickup better, I normally change the bridge pickup to my preferred pickup. The details are really nice on this Ultra Les Paul, and the Gold hardware really sets it off!! For the investment, easy to modify to Your specific demands for a tiny investment!! A Great Piece to have!! I've had 3, one I have now, one given to my Daughter, when she was younger she called my first one the "Beautiful Guitar"!! Regrettably sold it by accident!! I can't say enough about this fine instrument!! Try one out, and make the small changes that give You the sound You want, and spend much less than You would on another, and still have to make those changes that make "Your sound" !!Read full review

For the price I paid, this is a great value. A good guitar to practice on. After changing strings and making a few adjustments to the action, the guitar has produced great sound and has good voice and projection.
