  • Nikon TC-1.7e II - Great!

With the 3rd versions of the Nikon teleconverters available, I was hesitant to purchase a 2nd version to use on my newer Nikon lenses. But, I figured the price was right, so why not try. Happy I made the decision to do it. No noticeable difference in focusing speed and very sharp, even to the corners, on my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 G II lens. Worked equally as well on my Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 and Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 lenses, even though I had to give up two f-stops. I have no problem recommending this item!

  • 340mm f6.7

Nikon quality. Makes my AF-S 70-200/4 a 120-340/6.7. Image is excellent, I shoot at 5:4 Image area all the time anyway. Converter automatically adjust the focal length and aperture in the EXIF data. Shooting with a D850 so focus still works fine with 37 focus points and 25 cross type sensors.

  • 1.7 Telextender

This is a great tool on the specific lenses that it fits, unfortunately that is not many. I use it on am AF-S 300mm f/4 lens and it's great. It does not work on my 80-200 AF-s lens. I find myself mostly just using a DX camera (D7200) for the same magnification with fewer elements. I like having these, though I seldom use them

  • As described Mint Condition

I use to own one, but it was stolen a few years ago, so as for the quality and image quality, I knew what I was buying. But this Item was almost new. Did some extensive testing and so far I haven't found any problems with Image, AF or Metering. Works perfect. It was a well taken care item. Thanks

  • Surprised at the performance.

This lens brings my D500 200-500mm combo in good and close. There is a little sacrifice in sharpness using teleconverter versus no teleconverter, and in spite of being told that this lens won't autofocus, it actually will; but it tends to hunt. When I took a few shots of the moon, it brought it in close, and with a little editing, and a mild crop, I was able to get some nice shots of the moon. All this was handheld, but I had the VR set to sport mode. I bet this setup will perform even better on a tripod mount. The first photo is the edited version, and the second is unedited. I think this teleconverter would be great for photographing wildlife that are way too skittish to get close to using a comparative lens like this. It brought my lens out to 850mm with this 1.7 x teleconverter. That's a substantial increase in reach.

  • Nikon AF-S TC-17E II 1.7x Teleconverter

This is an excellent Teleconverter but I did have to do some minor modification on it for it to work with the third-party f/2.8 lenses I bought it for. It came in new condition and works every well.

  • Great teleconverter for Nikon DSLR

I got this to extend the range of my 70-200 2.8 and macro lenses. My first experiment with it was to catch the full moon a couple days after it arrived. It worked great on my d750 with the 70-200. I used a tripod and a 3 second delay to minimize movement, and the images were very sharp. The metering and autofocus work very nicely.
